COOKIE POLICY

Last updated: June 3, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Pick The Stick uses cookies and similar technologies to operate the service, keep you signed in, and remember your preferences. By using the app you consent to the practices described here.

Technologies we use

  • Supabase authentication cookies. We set secure cookies and refresh tokens so your session persists across browser tabs and refreshes. These cookies are updated whenever you sign in, refresh your token, or sign out.
  • Local storage and native preferences. We store league selections and other app settings in browser localStorage or, on native builds, via Capacitor Preferences so the app can reopen to your last-used league.
  • Analytics and measurement technologies. We may use analytics tags, cookies, and similar identifiers (including Google Analytics) to understand usage, improve product performance, and measure marketing effectiveness. On our native iOS and Android apps, analytics are active by default for the purpose of operating and improving the Service. On our website, analytics are enabled only with your consent via the cookie banner.
  • Pseudonymous measurement identifiers. We may use a pseudonymous identifier to measure activity across sessions and devices. We do not link analytics to advertising accounts, build advertising audiences, or upload customer data to advertising platforms.
  • Push notification tokens and preferences. With your permission we register device tokens, store notification preferences, and update token activity timestamps to deliver notifications about league activity based on your settings.
  • League chat (Stream.io). The Stream.io chat SDK may store session state, message cache, and connection tokens in browser localStorage or device memory to maintain a stable chat experience. This data is managed by Stream.io and is cleared when you sign out or the chat session ends.

How to control cookies

  • You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings, though the app may sign you out.
  • Native app users can reset app storage or disable preferences through device settings.
  • You can revoke push notification permissions in your device settings at any time.
  • On our website, you can use the cookie consent banner to manage analytics preferences. We also honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal as an opt-out of analytics cookies. Native app users who wish to opt out of analytics collection can contact us at support@pickthestick.co.

Updates

We may update this Cookie Policy as our use of technology evolves. Changes will be posted in the app, and your continued use after updates take effect means you accept the revised policy.
